What's on the menu?

From the day of diagnosis, we were researching and looking for someone to give guidance as to what we should do to beat Cancer.   This is how this site came to fruition.   Perhaps if it helps 1 person, it will already be worth it.

It's hard not to forget that at the end of the day, common sense goes a long way.   We all strive to be healthy and most of us don't abuse alcohol or nicotine, or heavy substances.   Yet we eat a lot of processed sugary foods that make the battle with any disease, even common cold harder.   I am not a doctor, however, I operate based on common sense.     Eating sugary processed foods will not help, so limit your food intake to healthy organic (if you can) foods.   Yes, you will not find a doctor that will tell you that sugar is linked to cancer, yet every doctor is going to urge you to eat healthy.
Avoid fried, sugary, processed, salty,  preserved foods.   It will start ut as a challenge, however as the creativity starts flowing, so will ideas, which will make the process of eating healthy rewarding.   While the body is fighting with the silent killer, help it by fueling it with organic foods like:

  • Avocado      
  • Greens (any leafy greens, be it lettuce, microgreens, watercress, dill, cilantro, parsley)
  • Radishes
  • Cucumbers
  • Asparagus!!!  
  • Berries (yes they do contain natural sugar, but it will help the process)
  • Red Potatoes
  • Beans
  • Sprouted grains ( quinoia)
  • Lentils
  • Buckwheat
  • Millet
  • Black rice
  • Organic chicken (breast only)
  • Fish
  • Hempseeds

Keep in mind that everything that you will make, should assist the body and generate energy, so avoid fying, adding any oil outside of coconut, help oil, olive oil.

Make new fresh meals and avoid using the microwave.   Yes, it will be tough but you can steam things to make them warm and remember ,every time you are cooking soup (without protein), if you are cooking it for longer than 10 minutes, you will be getting rid of an array of important nutrients.
